Grapefruit May Help You Lose Weight and Balance Blood Sugars
Analysts conducted a three-month study on a hundred overweight adults who were split into three groups to determine if eating grapefruit had an affect on weight reduction. The 1st group ate half a grapefruit with each meal, 3 times per day, and lost 3.6 pounds roughly.
The second group of participants, who ate an analogous diet without the grapefruit, lost only 0.5 pounds typically and the 3rd group drank grapefruit juice and lost 3.3 pounds roughly. Individually, some participators who ate the grapefruit lost as much as ten pounds, analysts say. Results of the study also showed clearly that the grapefruit group had lowered levels of insulin and glucose, which could be linked to weight control.
